Course Details

If you are brand new to machine knitting or you haven't touched your machine in years, I am here to get you knitting successfully! This course is jam packed with learning. We start at the very beginning to get your machine working smoothly then move on to the fun parts where we knit an adorable set of 4 spa cloths. No wasting yarn on swatches, no useless pieces of fabric, you will be making a useable item that you can use gift, wear or sell!

Supplies and Matterials

  • Standard Gauge Knitting Machine

    In this course I'll be using a Brother brand standard gauge machine but will show you how to also knit on a singer/studio/silver reed machine. No ribber attachment for this course.

  • Fingering Weight Yarn

    Because we are making spa cloths in this lesson, look for a cotton or mercerized cotton yarn in a fingering weight. You'll want 2 colors because you'll learn how to make stripes.

  • Tools

    For this course, you'll need a latch tool, single eye transfer tool, claw weights, flat edge pusher tool (all these come with your machine), a cast on comb (optional), a pair of scissors and a darning needle.
